STORM WARNINGS

At first it was just a tropical depression, but it began to grow in size and momentum slowly moving across the sea, each day weather advisories are more pronounced, small craft and gale warnings, as it turns into a tropical storm and when the winds surge past forty-eight knots, hurricane warnings!

Some people flee the area, some take the usual precautions just as they have done in the past, and they are convinced they will weather another. Some are over confident, even preparing to have a hurricane party in the face of such great danger. They hear the warnings and laugh when the police come to evacuate the area and refusing to leave, they snicker as their names and next of kin are recorded. There are hurricane warnings on every hand and dark clouds brooding on the horizon: Lost jobs, broken lives, ruined careers, crime, bankruptcies, shattered marriages, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, diseases with no answer and a thousand other tragedies that have come to a nation that is bankrupt, morally, financially and spiritually.

God is blowing the trumpet warning about the approaching storms, a few heed and flee, forsaking their sins and turning to God with their whole heart. Most harden their hearts and say business as usual. I heard that message twenty-five years ago, some having a hurricane party, worldly, and mockers whom will walk after their own ungodly lust. (Jude 1:18-19)

“And I set a watchmen over you saying listen to the sound of the trumpet! But they: said we will not listen. Hear O earth behold I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their plans, because they have not listened to my words, and as for my Law, they have rejected it also.” (Jeremiah 6:17-19)

There is going to be payday for all the years of greed and lust for money, the dollar is America’s number one god and in the name of the gods of convenience and women’s rights this nation has sucked into sink millions of innocent children.

Obsessed by demonic impulses to remove God and his Christ completely from society, a nation that mocks truth ridicules righteousness, when sin struts down Main Street demanding rights, know that destruction is at the door! There are judgments coming upon this land and the world, each one will strengthen the other and it will be the Storm of the Century.

A worldwide economic cataclysm as big as the great depression and in this chaos, war will ravage the nations.

  • A whirlwind of distress, anguish and confusion will come in what we thought was so substantial, will turn out to be so flimsy.
  • The fierce winds of panic will come as this nation is stripped of its golden calf prosperity as savings, retirement, stocks and mutual funds collapse suddenly!
  • A storm surge of hate and rage at God, church, preachers, politicians and wealth.
  • A terrible flood of violence as the people riot all over this land. Stores will be broken into, and goods stolen, stacked up and burned…in this rage crime will explode.
  • The sheer momentum of these storms will bring an avalanche of anxiety and uncertainty, but the greatest battle for God’s people will be FEAR!


    • Then out of the whirlwind of distress a World Leader will come forth and bring peace and order, as this world is ripe for a master and his chains.

    Millions will fall away angry with God, because carnal doctrines, traditions and works of the flesh have distorted the gospel and made it contrary to the truth. “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accord to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth and turn aside to myths.” (II Timothy 4:3-4)

    God is going to bring to desolation every church structure, every gathering together in his name, that are based on partial truths, flesh and personality, that is not the product and fruit of His own spirit will be swept away in a flood of lust, greed, confusion, disappointment and sickness. These coming storms will purge, cleanse and prepare His Church for His appearing, any ministry in this hour that does not hear what he is saying and does not minister what he is ministering will be heaping up wood, hay and stubble for the Furnaces of God.

    The Worldly Church will be found bent double, weeping over bricks, mortar and foreclosure signs, in a bondage to debt, imprisoned to numbers, programs and fleshly works for God; Lulled to sleep with a message of peace and safety, looking for a temple to be built in Israel with hands, while Jesus Christ himself is building a glorious temple not made with hands. “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the spirit of God dwells in you”? (I Corinthians 3:16)

    There is a people in whom God is preparing, discipling and refining like Joseph and Moses in the furnace of affliction, disappointment and failure and in humility they serve out of the heart of God and work and minister in harmony with him and one another and in the fullness of time God gives beauty for ashes, the oil of Joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3) then out of the ashes of all this desolation He will bring forth the very beauty and glory of the Lord on His Holy remnant.

    He is the Alpha, and He changes not. But in this hour He stands in our midst as the Omega. He is bringing to a conclusion, a consummation. He is finishing what he started. He is completing the temple, for which he has laid the corner stone. Take hope because there are bright clouds on the horizon for His Holy people, in the midst of these storms, God is going to cause a holy remnant to grow and flourish.

    “For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and be the glory in the midst of her. (Zechariah 2:5)
